Mark Mulholland and Sean Condron artists’ residency in Niamey
Mark Mulholland and his longstanding musical comrade Sean Condron were invited for a residency in Niamey, Niger, in June 2022 to collaborate with local musicians, work on recording projects and play concerts
Mark Mulholland and his longstanding musical comrade Sean Condron were invited for a residency by the Centre Culturel Franco-Nigérien Jean Rouch in Niamey, Niger, from June 18th – 26th 2022. During an intense week of activities, played several concerts, gave workshops and did a couple of recording sessions with local artists including John Sofa Koley, Oumaru Adamu and teh group Kori Nwar, as well as participating in the Fête de la Musique.
